Welcome to the Heritage North Museum
Our mission is to promote and preserve the heritage and history relating to Thompson and area. We launched a Geocache site in June 2007. It has attracted visitors and hits from all over the world.
See animals native to the area, a boreal forest diorama, First Nation and fur trade artifacts (including an authentic caribou hide tipi), fossils and mining artifacts at our Manitoba Star Attraction museum consisting of two log structures and an open-air blacksmith shop, Institutional Archives and visitor information booth.
Open year-round**
Winter: September - June
