We are looking for an educator who is committed to creating a positive, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where adult learners can build confidence and succeed.
What You Bring
Bachelor of Education degree
Experience teaching adults and a strong understanding of adult learning principles
Experience with literacy and numeracy instruction
Proficiency in Grade 9–12 English Language Arts and Social Studies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, flexible, outgoing, and self-motivated approach
Ability to build an engaging and successful learning environment
Strong knowledge of educational and school-based technology
Availability to work a combination of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
What We Offer
$40.00 per hour
Part-time, fixed-term contract
