Precision Rifle Group hosting PRS matches in Taber

Due to pending bad weather forcasted for this Saturday, Please Note the change of date:
MD of Taber Sport Shooting Complex 'range" clean-up day is on May 2 @ 9:00am.

Please come out and bring a friend who owns some cordless tools. We have some sweeping, washing, and rebuilding/rehabing some infrastructure.

A reminder that ALL ranges will be closed from 9:00am until the end of the clean-up activities. (even if no activity is happening on any particular range.)

Support your membership brothers & sisters by keeping our range ship-shape.

Rust Buster 2026 in the books!

Rimfire and Centerfire PRS matches went great! We had a fantastic turnout both days, and I had a great time seeing everyone out, meeting many new faces and seeing all the familiar ones again.

Congratulations to all the top shooters for their accomplishments! And great job to all the new ones who made it out for their first match, we hope to see you again.

We are in need of ROs for bother the rimfire and centerfire matches. If you are able and willing to help out send me a message and we will get your match fees refunded to you.

2 days of Rust Buster April 11, 12 happening in Taber,AB

We will be running a bonus stage as a fundraiser for CAPRA, if you are Interested in a chance at a cash payout to the winner of the stage be sure to bring cash to the match to throw into the pot!

Registration is open in Impact Scoring for both Centerfire and Rimfire matches.

PS: Both matches are Qualifiers

Be sure to renew your Taber Shooting Foundation membership before the AGM on February 25, 2026. It will take a few days to process your renewal, so don't delay. You need to be a "paid member" in order to vote at the AGM.

The TSF AGM is in Shooters Hall on the MD of Taber Sport Shooting Complex this year (not the downtown Taber Legion hall). It will be on Feb. 25, 2026 at 7:00pm.

Rust Buster 2026 is just around the corner!

This year we are doing 2 days back to back, rimfire then centerfire, separate matches, separate awards, separate registration. Check out Impact Scoring for more details and for registration.

2026 PRS Season is getting rolling around here!

We will be running 2 “Rust Buster” matches this spring. Rimfire on April 11 and Centerfire on April 12.

These will be separate matches in the sense of registration, so be sure to sign up for both individually. (You can also choose to only do one or the other)
Registration will be through Impact scoring and will be open as of Feb 7.

You do not need to be a member of the range to participate or a member of the PRS.

👀There will be a fun-fundraiser stage with cash pay out to raise money for CAPRA sending shooters to the 2026 World Championship.

Lots of spots available for the 2025 Centerfire match!

If you’re planning to shoot please register so we can get a feel for total shooters.

Registration can be found on Practiscore and match fees can be made through Chinook Arms website

This will be a fun, balanced, low stress COF. A perfect way to burn off some extra ammo and keep skills sharp before Prairie Classic 😎
