Good job Taber and M.D. supporting M.D. of Taber FCSS and its programing. The cookies and money raised was tight on both sides, with Taber winning the narrow split decision with cookies sold, in the heart it showed pulling through in the end.

Taber Titans Charity is proud to be part of in the , in support of the Smiley Cookie Campaign that raises money for Barons-Eureka-Warner Family and Community Support Services.

100 per cent of proceeds from Smile Cookies sold in Taber and Coaldale will go towards supporting local mental health, youth, parenting and seniors’ programs through M.D. of Taber FCSS.

You got until Sunday to buy yourself a cookie or two (or a box for your workplace) at $2 per cookie. Several community-minded organizations including The Ignite Initiative Ltd (pictured) have been preparing the cookies in recent days for the public to enjoy.

Tasty treats for a sweet cause.

The Taber Titans wish to address numerous social media posts inquiring about the financial status of the recent Raise the Roof charity concert, intended to raise funds for the rebuilding of the Taber Community Centre.

Due to poor single ticket sales overall, the event lost money.

The Titans will be donating the funds they garnered from the silent auction items of a generous business community, towards the centre rebuild.

The Titans would like to thank all who came out to donate their time, including community-minded members of Spider Entertainment themselves in organizing the event, the many hours required in it to set up, tear down and serve drinks to keep the overhead down for something the community could enjoy.
These events do not happen themselves, and a tip of the hat to the people who took time out of their busy lives to help.

We hope those who did manage to come, had a great time, and it can be seen at least as a great exclamation point for the weekend with all the families that participated in the Play On! ball hockey tournament in celebrating community spirit.

Look for an upcoming announcement in the upcoming weeks, as the Titans look to swivel to another direction in which we can help the community centre get back on its feet.

Still basking in the afterglow of the Kraft Hockeyville win for Taber… here are some more fond memories of hockey past with a huge photo dump (so many to choose from) of Play On!
Great memories of a great community when it comes together.
Thanks again to all the community-minded volunteers who helped power it for all the family fun to aid the rebuild of the Taber community centre/arena.
