Surrey Food Bank Serving Surrey & North Delta

🍽️ Nourishing community with good food and great people.

🤝 Join Us: Your donations make a difference every day.

Since 1983, the Surrey Food Bank has been assisting low income individuals and families who live in Surrey and North Delta by primarily providing bi-weekly food hampers to supplement a client's food needs. All funding comes directly from the community as the food bank does not receive any core government funding. Operations are overseen by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers and supported by an elected Board of Directors. The Surrey Food Bank respectfully acknowledges the shared, unceded traditional territory of the Katzie, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen and other Coast Salish Peoples on which we live and work.

Today, many of us will gather around tables with family and friends.

As you celebrate Thanksgiving, would you consider helping a local family put groceries on the table, too?

A gift of $68 can help provide a week of groceries for one family in Surrey or North Delta.

Thank you for caring about your community and helping ensure local families have access to healthy food this Thanksgiving. 💙

This Thanksgiving, a gift of $68 can help provide a week of groceries for a local family.

Every week, families, seniors and working households visit Surrey Food Bank because the grocery budget simply isn’t stretching far enough.

Good food offers more than nourishment. It provides breathing room, stability and the chance to focus on what comes next.

This weekend, you can help ensure local families have food on the table when they need it most.

Some really good news to share 💙

Last year, a woman named Anna came to Surrey Food Bank while studying to become an Early Childhood Educator and raising two children. Between rent, school and everyday expenses, groceries were one more thing she was struggling to afford.

For a while, we helped with food.

Today, Anna has graduated, found full-time work doing something she loves, and no longer needs our support.

Stories like Anna’s remind us that food assistance is often a bridge through a difficult season. Thank you to everyone who helps make that bridge possible.

If you’d like to help another local family this Thanksgiving, there’s still time to give. 🍂

💙 The Gillfor Distrubution and Fraserview Cedar Products Golf Tournament this summer brought the community together to raise an amazing $17,420 for the Surrey Food Bank!

Every dollar makes a difference, and this generous contribution will help us provide food and support to families throughout our community as we move into the season of giving. Through our Home Cooked Holidays campaign, donations like these help make holiday meals and meaningful moments around the table more accessible for those who need them most.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this fundraiser such a success. 💙

🍴We're thrilled to share that $81,355.83 was raised for the Surrey Food Bank through Walmart Canada's Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign.

Thank you to the generous Walmart customers and donors who made this possible, to for their continued commitment to fighting hunger, and to for helping allocate these funds to local food banks across the country.

Your support helps us continue providing food and essential support to individuals and families across Surrey and North Delta.

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up for one another. Together, we're helping build a stronger, more food-secure community. ❤️

🌭💙 A big thank you to Stong's Market Surrey for hosting a fantastic Customer Appreciation BBQ in support of Surrey Food Bank today!

Community members enjoyed hot dogs by donation, a prize wheel, product sampling from local vendors, and plenty of opportunities to connect and celebrate together. Throughout the event, Stong's collected food and financial donations to help support local families facing food insecurity.

We're incredibly grateful to the Stong's team, participating vendors, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by, donated, or learned more about our work.

Community partnerships like this help ensure our neighbours have access to the nutritious food they need when they need it most.

Thank you, Stong's Surrey, for making a difference in our community! 🙌
