The Cal LeGrow Foundation is proud to support BGC Gander NL Youth Success & Wellness Program! A year-round initiative supporting academic success, mental wellness, and life skills for youth ages 10–16. The program provides a safe, supportive space where youth build confidence and resilience. Each session includes academic support, mental wellness, and life skills development. Youth receive homework help while building study habits and organization. Mental wellness activities focus on stress management, coping strategies, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. Life skills sessions include goal setting, communication, teamwork, leadership, and financial literacy. Interactive methods such as group discussions, activities, and mentorship will keep youth engaged. The program will serve 40–60 youth annually, leading to improved confidence, stronger academic engagement, and better coping skills. ❤️

The Cal LeGrow Foundation is proud to support BGC St. John's Raise the Grade! A structured youth learning program for ages 12–18, delivered five days per week during the school year at two accessible Club locations. The program is designed to close academic gaps, strengthen literacy, and prepare youth for future success. Youth in the program face challenges such: limited access to individualized academic support, learning gaps in key subjects, the risk of disengaging from school. RTG directly addresses these needs through consistent, hands-on programming that combines tutoring, literacy development, and mentorship with exposure to real-world pathway. Youth build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and explore future pathways, increasing engagement in school & graduation rates. ❤️

The Cal LeGrow Foundation is proud to support Feildians Athletic Association! The proposal program would include FAA sending 3-4 staff members to run soccer sessions at the McSheffrey Center after the Easter Break (mid April) two afternoons per week to hit two age groups: grades K-3 on Mondays or Wednesdays and grades 4-6 Tuesdays or Thursdays. At the end of each month, the groups are broken into small teams, and they play a mini world cup tournament. The goal is to help the kids build confidence, build a network of people who are in their corner, encourage physical literacy, and ultimately have fun. ❤️

The Cal LeGrow Foundation is proud to support Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation Mental Health & Addictions campaign! This campaign is focused on breaking stigma, building awareness, and improving access to supports, especially among youth. A key initiative is delivering safeTALK training to students in grades 10-12 throughout rural high schools. This nationally recognized su***de awareness program teaches youth to recognize signs of suicidal thoughts and connect peers to life-saving help. By empowering youth with practical skills and confidence to support one another, they're fostering empathy, prevention, and stronger, healthier communities across the Burin Peninsula. ❤️
