Our Executive Director, Erin, had the best time at the Seniors of Distinction Awards yesterday!
Pictured here with the lovely Linda Oldford president the NL 50+ Club Federation, Pamela Dawe the acting seniors advocate, and Fraser Piccott, the chair of SeniorsNL. The morning was hosted by the Hon. Craig Pardy Minister of Seniors, joined by the Hon. Premier Tony Wakeham and the Hon. Jeannine Herritt, Deputy Minister of Seniors.

It is great to see our province continue their commitment to supporting our seniors.

🎶Thats a wrap!
We’ve finished this instalment of our Creative Music Series, with the lovely Claire Hartlen facilitating our eight week program with our amazing friends at Agnes Pratt.
This original program is intentionally designed for long term care and personal care homes and promotes musical engagement, silliness, inclusivity, and creativity for everyone!

☀️Last week we had the special opportunity to take the residents of Pearl House Manor to Mount Pearl Senior High as we took in a reading of the students story compilations inspired by the residents of Pearl House. This was a part of our pilot project “Patchwork Plays” that is built around storytelling, learning, and intergenerational connections!

✨Thank you to all the seniors, facilitators, students, and teachers who made this possible!

🚍 Big thank you to City Wide Cabs for getting us there in style!
