VOCM Cares Foundation provides essential program funding to charities within Newfoundland and Labrador. The Foundation also organizes community service initiatives including food and clothing drives, and the annual Happy Tree campaign.

🎉 Announcing the First Recipients of the VOCM Cares School Inclusion Fund! 🎉
We received a tremendous amount of interest, highlighting just how important this support is for students, families, and schools across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our goal is to help ensure every student has the opportunity to participate fully in school experiences, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Even small costs associated with school activities can create barriers for students and families. This fund is designed to help remove those barriers by supporting inclusion, participation, and equal access to opportunities within the school environment.
Every student deserves the chance to participate, belong, and make lasting memories with their classmates — and we’re proud to help make that possible. 💙

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, this year’s VOCM Cares Thanksgiving Food Drive collected an amazing 6,387 lbs of food, valued at over $23,000! 🥫🍎

Every donation makes a difference in helping support individuals and families across our province, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated, as well as to the wonderful people at Metrobus and Sobeys for their continued support and commitment to helping our communities.

When we come together, amazing things happen. This is what community supporting community is all about! 💙

🧥 Our Littlest Ones Need Your Help! 💙

We’re reaching out to our wonderful community for help! VOCM Cares Coats for Kids is in need of winter wear for babies and young children, from newborn up to and including size 5T.

At this time, we have a good supply of adult-sized winter wear, so we’re asking for your help in filling the gap in our smallest sizes!

If you have new or gently used winter coats, snowsuits, boots, hats, mittens or other winter essentials in newborn to 5T sizes, we would be so grateful for your donation. ❄️

Smaller size donations can be dropped off at our pop-up shop located at the Village Shopping Centre (at the bottom of the escalators between Charm and Jellybean Entertainment) between the hours of 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm on Thursday, October 22nd and between 9:00am - 12:00pm Friday, October 23rd.
