🏒 PowerSkate – Get Ready for Hockey!

Is your skater interested in transitioning into hockey this season?

Our 4-week PowerSkate program is a great opportunity to build confidence, improve skating skills and polish those edges, turns, stops and overall skating technique before the hockey season gets underway!

CANSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program designed for skaters of all ages who are ready to build upon the fundamental skills taught in PreCANSkate.

In this 50-minute session, skaters learn new skills in a group format with plenty of individual verbal and hands-on feedback. Skaters earn ribbons & badges as they progress through the skills from stages 1-6 in Balance, Control and Agility stations.

PreCanSkate is a fun, introductory learn-to-skate program designed for children aged 3 and up who have never skated before, or who are still learning to balance and move on the ice.

Each 30 minute group session taught by professional NCCP-Certified coaches focuses on fundamental skating skills through the use of circuits and fun teaching aids (bubbles, hula hoops, hockey sticks, etc) to keep the experience motivating and engaging.

Our 2026/2027 program schedules are here!
The season will start on September 14 with our 4-week Early Fall Kickstarter programs, followed by the full Fall schedule beginning on October 13.

Registration will open on August 24 for all Kickstarter and Fall programs.
