Understanding that getting the right information is crucial for the peace of mind and navigating the social supports environment, financial planning and clarity of the future, on May 4th 2026, TSCF hosted a special joint session helping to clarify the numerous questions that have been directed at the organization especially during the tax season whith Service Canada and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) representatives holding a dedicated session with clients and the community. Clarified were disability credits and mapping out the retirement process.

"Lots of good information, lots of questions, and we are thinking of another session that as much provides the information as gives almost a workshop space addressing all the questions the organization has been receiving in increased numbers throughout the tax season.", says Beverly Dwyer, founder of The Second Chance Foundation.
