It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we at The Second Chance Foundation share the news of the sudden passing of our dear friend, collaborator, and patroned artist, Carl Henry.

While his sudden departure leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts and community, we find comfort in knowing that his voice, his passion, and his melodies will live on forever through the incredible legacy he leaves behind.

Our deepest thoughts, prayers, and love are with his family and loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.

Thank you, Carl for sharing your beautiful gift with us. You will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten. 🤎 🕊

We are deeply heartbroken by the sudden passing of Carl Henry, a brilliant artist and a cherished member of our Foundation family for the past 4 1/2 years. To Carl was to witness true creative genius paired with a deeply kind and generous soul. He gave so much of himself to his craft, and his music touched our hearts in ways words cannot fully express. While the silence he leaves is heavy, the echo of his music, his passion, and his legacy will play in our hearts forever.
Our love and deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who were moved by his incredible artistry. Rest in peace, friend. ❤️ 🕊

4 days, 3 nights of a fabulous weekend with some very lovely ladies, at 5 Oaks. Just a sampling of a few pictures of our weekend. To all the ladies that attended this wellness weekend, and the facilitators who led our programs, thank you all, and see you next year. A special thank you for our sponsors without whom, this weekend would not have been possible.

Understanding that getting the right information is crucial for the peace of mind and navigating the social supports environment, financial planning and clarity of the future, on May 4th 2026, TSCF hosted a special joint session helping to clarify the numerous questions that have been directed at the organization especially during the tax season whith Service Canada and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) representatives holding a dedicated session with clients and the community. Clarified were disability credits and mapping out the retirement process.

"Lots of good information, lots of questions, and we are thinking of another session that as much provides the information as gives almost a workshop space addressing all the questions the organization has been receiving in increased numbers throughout the tax season.", says Beverly Dwyer, founder of The Second Chance Foundation.
