🌟 Athlete Spotlight: Noah Pyke 🌟

Noah began his Special Olympics Sarnia journey in 2019 as a member of our Sarnia Dolphins swim team. In 2022, he made the switch to 10-Pin Bowling and has never looked back! Since then, Noah has consistently excelled on the lanes, earning gold medals at competitions year after year through his hard work, focus, and dedication.

When he's not bowling, Noah's interests reach far beyond the lanes. He is fascinated by all things space and is an incredibly talented artist. His creativity truly shines through the elaborate Halloween costumes he designs and creates each year—masterpieces that never fail to impress!

We are so proud of Noah and all that he has accomplished. His determination, talent, and positive attitude have earned him the opportunity to compete on the national stage, and we can't wait to cheer him on in Medicine Hat!

🌟 Athlete Spotlight: Angela Sauve 🌟

Angela has been part of the Special Olympics Sarnia family since our organization was formed in 2017. Starting with basketball, Angela's love of sport has led her to participate in soccer, track and field, bocce, powerlifting, swimming, dance fit, co****le, and 10-pin bowling.

Angela is truly a ray of sunshine. She loves spending time with her Special Olympics friends, is always ready to pose for a photo with her peeps, and proudly shares photos and stories of her nieces and nephews. When she's not competing, you'll often find Angela playing guitar and performing on stage as part of the Stars 21+ productions.

We are incredibly proud of Angela and all she has accomplished. Her positive attitude, team spirit, and dedication make her a wonderful ambassador for Special Olympics Sarnia.

⚽🏆 Champions! 🏆⚽

What an incredible day for our Sarnia Storm Soccer Team at the Burlington Special Olympics Invitational Soccer Tournament!

Our D2 team put on an outstanding performance, winning all four of their games and bringing home 1st Place in their division! 🥇🌪️

Meanwhile, our D1 players enjoyed a fantastic day of scrimmages, skills, and drills, continuing to develop their game while having fun and building friendships.

We couldn't be prouder of all of our athletes for their sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, and positive attitudes throughout the day.

A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches and volunteers for spending the day supporting our athletes and helping make this experience possible.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Special Olympics Burlington for hosting a fantastic tournament. We appreciate all of the hard work that went into organizing such a fun and successful event for our athletes.
