We're honoured to be featured in The WorkPlace Group 50 Years, 50 Legacies series! πŸŽ‰

For decades, we've had the privilege of connecting generous donors with the causes that make Sarnia-Lambton stronger β€” and none of that work happens without partners like The The WorkPlace Group who champion community-building right alongside us. Thank you for recognizing the impact we get to make together.

Here's to the next chapter of legacies in our community. πŸ’š

As part of our 50 Years, 50 Legacies community recognition series, we are proud to recognize the Sarnia Community Foundation

Through thoughtful investment, collaboration, and a strong belief in the power of community, the Sarnia Community Foundation has helped create meaningful opportunities for local people and organizations.

Their support of The WorkPlace Group and other local initiatives has increased access to employment, training, and workforce resources, fostering economic growth and resilience. By investing in people and programs that strengthen the local workforce, they have helped create a more inclusive and thriving community.

We are grateful for the Sarnia Community Foundation’s partnership and for the meaningful impact they continue to make across Sarnia–Lambton. As we celebrate 50 years of The WorkPlace Group, we are proud to recognize their important role in helping build a stronger, more inclusive, and resilient community.

FUND HIGHLIGHT: Kiwanis Golden K Legacy Fund πŸŽ‰
We're proud to spotlight a $5,000 grant from the Sarnia Lambton Golden K Kiwanis Club, presented to the Science Education Partnership β€” a hands-on learning collaboration serving both the Lambton Kent District School Board and the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.
This gift helps power circulating science kit boxes, classroom resources, and volunteer-led demonstrations through the Science Discovery Squad, bringing hands-on science to classrooms across our community.
Pictured here: Mike Barron, Dennis Loucks, Wendy Hooghiem, Don Schenk, and Tony Wheeler. Thank you Golden K for your continued commitment to investing in local youth. πŸ’™πŸ’›

🎾 Congratulations to this year's Justin Bourassa Memorial Fund Scholarship recipients β€” Matthew, Maria, Kiyara, Grant, David & Chinmay! πŸ†

From the moment Justin Bourassa first picked up a racquet, he fell in love with tennis β€” and that love never stopped growing. His warmth, his spirit, and his passion for the game left a lasting impression on everyone he crossed paths with, and his legacy lives on through LOVE-ALL and through every young person he inspired.

These six recipients carry that legacy forward β€” whether through learning, playing, coaching, instructing, or building a stronger tennis community right here in Sarnia-Lambton. πŸ’›

"His legacy lives on in every serve, every lesson, and every young player who picks up a racquet because someone believed in them."

To help keep Justin's spirit alive and support future recipients, donations to the fund are gratefully accepted at sarniacommunityfoundation.ca. Learn more about LOVE-ALL at love-all.ca πŸ™
