River City Vineyard is a church and community center in downtown Sarnia, Ontario, serving the city with a facility for worship, healing, hope and equipping Christians with education, ministry. We have many outreach services such as a community garden, food bank, free clothing store, free meals and our homeless shelter, located in the basement of our building. Our homeless shelter is open everynight for those in need.

Go check out the meat raffle today from 4 to 6 pm at Scroggie's! Tickets are 3 for $5 or $2 each.

The proceeds support the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton, which in turn support local organizations like ours! :)

There will be a memorial service at Smith Funeral Home (1576 London Line, Sarnia) tomorrow, August 22, at 1:00 p.m., with family and friends invited to a visitation period from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m.

Bob was one of the founding members of River City Vineyard church and holds a very special place in many of our hearts! Our deepest condolences go out to Ann and family.

Next week Sunday morning, August 16th, we have the pleasure of having Kin Lancaster come and speak! Kin was George's first associate pastor, and is the father of our newest pastor Jamie. We are excited to have Kin and his wife Jolene coming to visit, and that Kin is willing to speak! If you were part of the church back then and want to say hi and hear Kin speak, please come next Sunday! And if you're new and want to check out River City, please also come and say hi - the service starts at 10 am! ;)

(There will also be an off site Open House for Jolene and Kin on Saturday, August 15th from 1 to 3 pm. If you are interested in attending this, please send us a message and we will provide you with further details.)
