What a super fun day participating in this years Race to Erase fundraising event, especially as this was the 20th anniversary year!! There were 37 teams total that fundraised for 9 different local charities and competed to win the "Race." River City Vineyard had 4 teams fundraising for us, who together raised over $6600.00 (and counting)! Congratulations to the Baconator crew for being the top fundraising team overall again this year, and to Gimme Shelter for being the 2nd place fundraising team overall! Thank you so much to all 4 teams for taking part of this event and fundraising for us, we really appreciate you! River City Vineyard raised the highest amount out of all the participating charities which is incredible, and over $37,000 was raised total between all of the participating charities. Well done Sarnia!
Thank you to the Hashtag Local crew and all of those involved in the organization process for all of your hard efforts in making this event come together year after year! Thank you to Bluewater Power for sponsoring the event, to Tang's for the delicious lunch, to the Great Lakes Refill for the candy bar, to Imperial City Brewhouse for providing drinks, and to all of the many volunteers who made this event possible (including Dottie, our wonderful volunteer from River City!). Thank you SO much to everyone involved to make this fundraiser such a resounding success yet again. 20 years and it keeps getting better and better every year! Our Sarnia community is really something special, and we are so grateful to be part of it. Until next year!! ;)

Race to Erase is 2 weeks from today!! We have 4 teams raising money and representing River City Vineyard and they're doing great!
On Race Day these teams will "race" around to the different challenges to see who can complete them all the fastest and be declared the race winner!

The 20th annual Race to Erase is coming up quick! It is being held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, and we are excited to again be one of the participating charities!! This is SUCH a fun event and such a great way to support the many wonderful local charities we have in Sarnia. Would you consider signing up your team of 4 and supporting River City Vineyard?

The Race to Erase isn’t a running race, but a race where teams of four compete in fun-filled challenges throughout their community, competing for the fastest time and largest fundraising amount. Team costumes are definitely encouraged, and winners walk away with bragging rights and a trophy!

There is no fee to register, but each team of four is asked to raise a minimum of $500. All money raised goes back into running our outreach programs.

Don't miss out on your chance to compete in fun challenges across Sarnia-Lambton, learn about local businesses and organizations, AND support River City Vineyard!
