Proud doesn't even begin to describe how we feel about this project.

Some will say it's too much. Others will say it's not enough. We see 9 opportunities for young people to have a safe place to live while they build their future.

We are incredibly proud of Mitchener Village and motivated by the collaboration that made it possible. All three levels of government, community partners, donors, supporters, and youth themselves came together to help turn this vision into reality.

Did you know that our existing 6-bed supportive housing program at Beacon Cove has supported more than 90 young people and provided more than 8,000 nights of safe, stable housing in less than four years?

That's why we know Mitchener Village is much more than 9 affordable housing units. It is safety. Stability. Opportunity. Belonging. And for the young people who will call it home, it could mean everything. 🤍

This evening we celebrated 10 Centre for Youth Care graduates - 7 high school graduates and 3 middle school graduates. We couldn't be prouder. 🎓❤️

Very few of us will ever fully understand how hard you worked to reach this moment. We stand in awe of your resilience, determination, and strength.

We will forever learn more from you than you could ever learn from us.

A few years ago, this project was simply a dream. Hearing it recognized in the Legislature feels surreal.

The opening of Mitchener Village is quickly approaching, and what once felt far away is now becoming reality. We are incredibly grateful for the momentum, collaboration, and belief that so many people have brought to this project.

This belongs to an entire community that chose to invest in young people and their futures. ❤️

Last week was HR Professionals Week and we definitely didn’t forget to celebrate our HR Administrator, Amanda. 🤍

Amanda is exactly who you hope to have in Human Resources. She is deeply attuned to the work we do at Centre for Youth Care and approaches every interaction with compassion, professionalism, and care. Whether she is supporting staff, helping navigate challenges, or strengthening processes behind the scenes, Amanda always leads with empathy and integrity.

Beyond her commitment to C*C, Amanda is also deeply committed to her family and the community. She is always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen her skills, and we are excited to continue growing alongside her.

We are also proud to share that last month Amanda successfully completed the Human Resources Management Program through the University of New Brunswick. This accomplishment reflects her dedication, motivation, and investment in both herself and C*C.

Day one at the CAB Summit is a wrap!

Our Centre for Youth Care team was incredibly honoured to accept the “All In” Award for Saint John. This recognition means so much to us because the work we do is only possible through strong partnerships, collaboration, and a community that shows up for its youth.
