What an incredible day celebrating at the Oasis Clubhouse!
A special thank you goes out to our Member, Brendon, who chose to celebrate his 50th birthday in a truly meaningful way. Through his hard work, he raised funds from the community to host this awesome Birthday Bash and generously donated the remaining proceeds back to the Brain Injury Association of Niagara's Clubhouse.
The day was filled with laughter, friendship, and celebration. We enjoyed delicious cake, sang Happy Birthday, played bingo and cheered on our prize winners throughout the day!
A huge thank you as well to Taylor Poole our talented caricature artist, who created amazing sketches and brought so many smiles to everyone's faces with both his artwork and kindness.
Events like this remind us how important community is for individuals living with the effects of brain injury. Recovery and adaptation are not journeys that happen alone. Having a place where people can connect, build friendships, share experiences, and celebrate life's milestones together helps foster belonging, confidence, and hope. The support of community can make a large impact in reducing isolation and creating opportunities for people to thrive.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this celebration such a success!
