Located in St. Catharines, Niagara Children’s Centre is recognized throughout the Niagara Region as the provider of rehabilitation and support services to children and youth with physical, developmental and communicative delays and disabilities. Our programs of family centred care aim at helping each child achieve his or her own unique potential so that they can participate in all activities at home, school and in the community.

Sunny had a spooktacular time at Pumpkinfest last week! 🎃

Our beloved mascot was invited to last Friday's event at , which featured a family-friendly haunted tree house, train rides, field games, activities, and crafts.

Today is World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day! 💙

On Oct. 25, we raise awareness of these conditions and the experiences of people living with them.

💡 Did you know? There’s no single experience of spina bifida or hydrocephalus. Every child has unique strengths, abilities and support needs. A diagnosis doesn’t define who they are or what they can achieve.

At Niagara Children’s Centre, we recognize the unique experiences, strengths and needs of every child and family we support.

Together, we can build a more inclusive world where everyone has the opportunity to be their best.

Every voice deserves to be heard! 💚

Today, on International Stuttering Awareness Day, we’re challenging misconceptions about stuttering. it isn’t simply caused by nervousness or shyness, and it has nothing to do with intelligence.

🗣️ Noticing your child stuttering? Be patient, listen without interrupting, and focus on what they’re saying, not how they’re saying it. If you have concerns, our team can help.

📋 At Niagara Children’s Centre, our speech-language services support children and families with individualized strategies to build communication skills and confidence.
