With a heavy heart and deep appreciation for Marlene Gardner, my dear friend and colleague, I share that she passed away this week.

Marlene was one of the most beautiful souls—an incredible supporter of Project beamON, as well as so many other local Richmond Hill community endeavours.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, entrepreneur, and a pillar of strength. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support touched us all.

While it is deeply hard to say goodbye, Marlene leaves us a legacy of love and community that will continue to guide us.

Personally, her passing adds to my unwavering momentum to continue living a life of purpose, filled with love for my family, friends, charitable and business endeavours.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported the 5th Annual beamON Charity Walk.

What a beautiful morning it was! We were blessed with ideal weather, wonderful energy, and a fantastic turnout of adults, children, and of course, our beloved doggies.

Together, we stretched, walked, connected, did tai chi, shared stories, and strengthened our community—all while supporting a cause that continues to bring comfort, warmth, and love to individuals and families facing cancer.

While the need for beamON blankets continues to grow, the blessing is that beamON is there to provide comfort, warmth, and love to individuals and their loved ones during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Keep supporting, donating and requesting Reiki-blankets as needed. 💜

Join us for the 5th Annual Walk for beamON—a morning of community, mindfulness, and purpose.

Let’s gather to support our Reiki-attuned blanket recipients and share positive energy in nature. 🌿

🗓️ When: Saturday, May 30th, 2026 | 9:15 AM – 11:00 AM

📍 Where: Mill Pond Park, Richmond Hill

🐾 Who: All ages & furry friends welcome! (Kids under 12 are FREE)

The Morning Flow:

✨ Opening welcome with a Reiki-energy twist

🧍‍♀️ Gentle stretch warm-up with Nicole Matrondola (Professional Trainer)

👟 Nature walk & connection through beautiful Mill Pond

☯️ Tai Chi & Qigong wrap-up with Cathrine Page (RMT & Instructor)

Join us for The Annual beamON Walk, a morning dedicated to community. 💜

We are honored to be joined by Cathrine Page, a Registered Massage Therapist and Tai Chi/Qigong Instructor, who will lead us through a restorative session of Tai Chi post our beautiful walk around the Mill Pond in Richmond Hill. 🌿

Along with Nicole Matrundola, Certified Personal Trainer who will warm us up with some light stretches.

Community, support, fresh air, nature, it doesn’t get better than this!
