Our 2026 Create for a Cause Fundraiser is here!

Join us for a special evening Orris Labs as we explore the art of fragrance and create our own signature perfumes. Enjoy a little time to unwind, connect with other women, and support a cause that matters.

Every ticket helps humanKIND continue supporting women and children in shelters 🤍

📍 Orris Labs, Toronto
🎟️ Early bird tickets: $90 until October 23
Regular tickets: $100

Your ticket includes:
• A hands-on perfume-making experience
• Your own custom 15 ml fragrance to take home

We are seeking a Volunteer Art Instructor to lead monthly paint workshops for women. If you are creative, patient, and passionate about making a difference through art, we would love to hear from you!

Online Art Instructor
🗓️ Schedule: Once per month, every last Wednesday
⏱️ Time: 11:30am - 12:30pm (may be flexible with time)
📍 Location: Online

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience facilitating virtual paint workshops
- Friendly, patient, and supportive with participants
- Comfortable working with diverse clients
- Second language is an asset

*Minimum 6 month commitment*

There are so many ways to give back 🤍

Sometimes it’s your time.
Sometimes it’s your skills.
Sometimes it’s simply a few thoughtful words.

humanKIND creates opportunities for our community to do all three.

This summer, members of our community came together to support Blue Door Services by writing postcards to their donors, a simple way to give their time, from home and on their own schedule.

For some, it meant a few quiet moments at the kitchen table. For others, it was an opportunity to get the kids involved and show them that giving back can take many different forms.

Because volunteering doesn’t always mean showing up for a shift. Sometimes, it’s simply finding a small way to make a meaningful difference.

We’re grateful to everyone who took part and helped make this initiative possible. 💌

After discovering the work of humanKIND toronto campers at a recent girls camp came together to create care packages and heartfelt cards for children living in shelters.

Their messages were filled with hope, encouragement, and reminders that even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone feel supported 🤍

As we head into the weekend, we hope you find a moment to slow down, recharge, and appreciate the simple things.

We also hold space for those who may not have the opportunity to experience peace, safety, or rest today. That’s why humanKIND toronto continues to support women and children experiencing crisis, one act of kindness at a time.

Due to scheduling conflicts affecting many of our valued supporters and families, we’ve made the decision to move our fundraiser to the fall to ensure the strongest possible community participation and impact.

We’re excited to bring you an even more meaningful experience later this year and look forward to sharing the new date soon.
