Due to the busy finals season and popular request, our application form has been extended to April 10th at 11:59 PM EST to be considered for an interview. Our positions are open to anyone graduating or entering grade 12, student currently enrolled at a post-secondary institutions, or those who have graduated.

Short interviews will take place mid~late April. Our team is happy to accommodate an alternate interview time for applicants who may not be able to attend.

BioSpecs is a free, health-focused summer STEM camp for newcomer youth (i.e. first-generation immigrants, international students, and refugees). We also welcome any member of underrepresented youth in STEM.

By providing hands-on workshops, guest speaker talks on diverse healthcare careers, and multidisciplinary lectures on health, we hope to help students explore their interests and inspire them to take the next step toward becoming the diverse leaders in health and STEM.

BioSpecs is a health-focused summer camp for newcomer youth in STEM. This free, week-long camp will consist of guest speaker talks on health care career highlights, hands-on workshops, and lectures relevant to diverse health fields. Through this, we hope to connect students to their own interests and be inspired to take the next step toward becoming tomorrow’s diverse leaders in the health and STEM fields.
