A big thank you to Jane Forrest! Jane made the delicious coleslaw for our Steak and Lobster feast on May 27th. Lona went to pay Jane the following day for the coleslaw and was given an envelope with this note inside. We really appreciate your kindness and generosity, Jane! Thank you!

At our Steak and Lobster feast this past Tuesday we were fortunate to have many volunteers helping out. A big thank you to Susan and Meadow from the Legion Ladies Auxiliary.Susan ran the bar and Meadow and her friend worked in the kitchen. A big thank you also to Carrie and Charlene from Stephanie’s Place! The evening couldn’t happen without these wonderful helpers!

The Steak and Lobster feast had approximately 30 volunteers that made the success of the evening possible. First and foremost to thank is the leader extraordinaire Lona Scully! She spends countless hours organizing and preparing for the night. Thank you, Lona! Here she is pictured with her sisters Ruth and Alison as they finished up decorating!🦞

Our Steak and Lobster evening last night had quite a few regular diners from years past….. George at the ripe old age of 1 is making his second appearance! We thank George and the rest of the team from Zohr Family Funeral Home Inc. for dining with us again this year!

Dennis’s 12 year old granddaughter worked her first Steak and Lobster night! It was all giggles as she posed for the ceremonial first picture holding a live lobster!! You did great, Isla! Thanks for your help tonight.

On Sunday May 17th Renfrew Rotary was honoured to present the highest honour we can bestow upon an individual, the Paul Harris Fellow, to Eleanor Donaldson. Eleanor has given back to the Renfrew community for approximately 50 years. ❤️❤️Congratulations to Eleanor and we thank her for her selfless and loving contributions to Renfrew and area!

On Wednesday May 6th Renfrew Rotary held its “Festival of Stars” as the culminating evening for the Renfrew Rotary Music Festival. Ron Lavigne enthusiastically hosted the evening and the musical stars from the festival were celebrated. Bravo to all who participated and special thank you to Kathleen Lofthouse for her passionate leadership in running this special event! 🎶🎶🎶🎶
