Asset #11: Family Boundaries 💙
Children thrive when families have clear rules, consistent expectations, and caring limits. Healthy family boundaries help children feel safe, learn responsibility, and make positive choices.
✨ Tips for building this asset:
• Set clear household expectations and follow through consistently.
• Involve children in creating family rules so they feel heard and included.
Strong family boundaries provide the foundation children need to grow with confidence and respect for others.

Development Asset #10 is all about youth feeling safe at home, school and in the neighbourhood. When youth feel safe, they have the confidence to learn, grow, and take healthy risks. Parents, you can build this asset daily by: keeping predictable routines at home, listening to their worries without judgment, monitoring their digital spaces and apps and building neighbourhood connections Let’s build safer environments together! 👇 What is one way you create a "safe zone" for your kids?

Have you been to our Kindness Rock Gardens yet? Summer is a great time to find a special rock, paint a message of hope on it, and deliver it to one of our two Kindness Rock Gardens - Oxbows or Capstone. Enjoy some time with your kids, connecting and sharing moments of joy like this.
