Help shape the future of agriculture in the Peace Region 🌾

The BC Peace Agriculture Fund is looking for two agricultural producers to bring their experience and perspective to its Board of Directors.

Two positions are available: a Member-at-large and a Member-at-large representing the Peace River Valley.
Members serve a three-year term, with the possibility of extension to six years, and attend approximately three to five meetings each year, typically in Fort St. John.
If you’re an agricultural producer in the BC Peace region and are interested in getting involved, we’d like to hear from you!

⛳ There’s more to a healthy golf course than what you see on the fairway.

At Charlie Lake, a major irrigation upgrade is bringing more precise water use to Lake Point Golf and Country Club, replacing infrastructure that had been in service for more than 30 years.
With $228,139 in funding through our Recreation Infrastructure program, the project is helping set the course up for greener fairways and more efficient operations for years to come.

🚌 The 2026 intake of the Northern Community Shuttle Program is open, but only for a limited time!

Eligible existing shuttle providers can apply for up to $75,000, covering up to 80% of eligible operating costs to help continue operations and keep northerners connected to services, amenities and other transportation options.

Funding can support operating costs such as driver wages, fuel, maintenance, insurance, booking services, driver training and more.

📣 One week left to apply to the BC Peace Agriculture Fund before Intake 2 closes on Friday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m.

With only two intakes per year, its programs are open to agricultural producers within the Peace Region. Funding can cover projects such as educational initiatives, events, infrastructure, research initiatives and more.
