For many kids, September means new backpacks, fresh notebooks, first-day jitters, and seeing friends again after summer.

But for children fighting cancer, the start of a new school year can look very different. Some are spending their days in hospital rooms instead of classrooms, missing out on the moments that make childhood so special.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We’re shining a light on the children and families facing cancer — and on the researchers working to change their future. 💛

From advancing CAR T-cell therapy to developing better, safer treatments, research gives children more options, more hope, and more tomorrows.
