HaenselCreative is a community-led platform created to support independent artists without taking their voice, ownership, or autonomy.

This space exists for creators who are tired of gatekeepers, unpaid exposure, and being asked to shrink their work to fit someone else’s vision.

Here, artists are shared, supported, and uplifted as they are; they are not reshaped, rebranded, or extracted from.

HaenselCreative is not a marketplace, and it is not a competition.

It is a space built on consent, transparency, and care.

•There are no platform fees
•no forced branding--
•--and no pressure to perform.

Any funds raised through artist features go directly to the artist. My role is simply to amplify -- not to profit from someone else’s creativity.

This platform offers artist spotlights, promotions, community sharing across platforms, and optional collaborative projects --all without ownership claims or creative control being taken away.

Artists keep their work.
Artists keep their voice.

HaenselCreative was built especially with marginalized, overlooked, and independent artists in mind --those who have been burned by systems that take more than they give.

This is a space to make room, not rules.

Community-led. Artist-first.
No fees. No gatekeepers.

📣•|| CALLING ALL ARTISTS ||•✨

I’m opening up Haensel Creative as a space to support struggling, emerging, and independent artists.

If you’re an artist who needs a platform, I want to help.

Any art sold through this collaboration will have 100% of the proceeds go directly to YOU.

I do not take a fee or commission.

I do sell my own work here as well, but this is about community, mutual aid, and making sure artists are supported, not exploited.

I’m using my Patreon platform as a way to spotlight artists, share work, and connect people with art they can support directly.

If you paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, write, bead, tattoo flash, collage, or create in any form -- and you’re having a hard time right now -- PLEASE reach out.

This is about artists helping artists.
No gatekeeping.
No paywalls.
Just care.

🖤 Please share to help this reach the right people

🕯️🧸 Preserving Forgotten Memories at Little Lake Cemetery 🧸🕯️

During a recent walk through Little Lake Cemetery in Peterborough, I noticed something heartbreaking: the memorial for the Barnardo children in Section M-101 is no longer standing.
This monument was meant to honour the children from Hazelbrae Home — over 8,000 young lives who passed through and whose stories deserve to be remembered.

The memorial, originally installed in 1999 and replaced in 2000 by the Hazelbrae Memorial Group, commemorated 13 children and one of their teachers. Yet today, its presence has vanished, leaving a void where their memory should stand.

We don’t have confirmation of vandalism, but regardless, it’s clear this piece of history needs attention. These children, often separated from their families and sent far from home, deserve to be commemorated.

📌 Call to Action: If you care about local history and the legacy of the Barnardo children, we need to raise awareness and work with the City of Peterborough and Little Lake Cemetery to restore or replace this memorial. Every effort counts in keeping their memory alive.

💬 Share this post to help spread the word and bring attention to this lost piece of Peterborough’s history. Let’s make sure the Barnardo children are never forgotten.

✨🕊️ Life, Death & the Beauty Between 🕊️✨

I found myself creating a little altar of memory the other day — a dragonfly resting on an ornately carved copper plate, surrounded by petals, seeds, and pieces of light.

Life and death live together in every moment: the bloom and the wither, the seed and the husk, the shimmer, and the shadow.

To me, it’s a reminder that everything we hold, even in its passing, can be made beautiful — a way to honour, to remember, and to give shape to love.

These small acts of arranging, of pausing with what is left behind, are how I create special moments — for those we’ve lost, for those who walk beside us, and for the parts of ourselves that are always transforming.

🌿✨ Here’s to remembering, here’s to honouring, and here’s to finding beauty in both the living and the letting go.

Over the years, Homeless in Peterborough has anonymously been a space for awareness, compassion, and advocacy.

That mission remains at the heart of everything I do.

As I’ve grown, I’ve found new ways to honour stories, uplift voices, and bring people together through art, tributes, and creative projects.

This shift is why the page is now Haensel Creative — a home for both my own work and for advocacy art sales, memorials, and events that remember, heal, and connect.

The name is different, but the heart remains the same. ❤️
