259 Air Cadets proudly supports the Penticton Legion’s annual Poppy Campaign. The Legion has been one of our squadron’s greatest supporters, and participating in this campaign is a meaningful way for us to give back to the community that continues to support us.

We encourage everyone to show their support by donating and wearing a poppy to honour and remember the brave individuals who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for supporting the Penticton Legion and 259 Air Cadets.

Open to all youths aged 12-18. Air Cadets is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging, and rewarding activities while learning about the Sea, Army, and Air elements of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Air Cadets offers high school graduation credits, scholarship opportunities, Free Summer Camps, leadership training, and even the opportunity to get your Private pilot's and glider's licence.
We are an incredibly active unit, running regular training on Tuesday evenings, as well as activities most weekends, including flying, hiking, field training, music training, citizenship activities, and leadership development. This program offers something for everyone seeking a challenge.
Parents/Guardians must attend to register their youths. Please bring a piece of government-issued ID. Want to get ahead of the paperwork? Register online at the link below!

Aviation is one of the major focuses of the Air Cadet program, and one of its highest honours is earning your wings and learning to fly. 259 is proud to have two cadets currently attending flying scholarship camps this year: WO2 Arunan at the glider camp and WO2 LeBlanc at the Power camp. Both have successfully completed their first solo flights!
Bravo Zulu Warrants!
