⛑️From everyone at SARVAC, coast to coast to coast, we wish all families a fun and safe Halloween! 👻
🔦 Remember to Be Seen. Be Bright. Stay Lit. Use reflective clothing, glow sticks, flashlights or headlamps, stick to sidewalks, and cross safely. A few simple precautions can help keep little ghosts, goblins and superheroes safe after dark.
Stay safe and have a spook-tacular Halloween! 🎃

🎃 At Search and Rescue Alberta, we know how much fun trick-or-treating can be for little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses. We also know how quickly a fun evening can turn into an emergency when visibility and safety are overlooked.
To help make this Halloween safe, successful, and full of happy memories, here are a few ways to Be Seen. Be Bright. Stay Lit.
✨ Glow sticks are a simple Halloween win. They're inexpensive, easy to find at most dollar stores, and kids think they're pretty cool too.
🦺 Reflective tape and bright colours can take any costume from fun to highly visible, helping drivers and other trick-or-treaters spot your little monsters after dark.
🔦 Flashlights and headlamps are always a good idea. Not only do they help others see you, but they also help you navigate dark sidewalks and poorly lit streets.
🚸 Stick to sidewalks whenever possible and cross at designated crosswalks or intersections. Look both ways before crossing and never dart out from between parked vehicles.
🏠 Only approach homes with their porch lights on. It's the universal sign that treats are available and trick-or-treaters are welcome.
📸 Got a great costume? We'd love to see it! Share your Halloween photos in the comments below and show us how you're helping your family be seen, be bright and stay lit. 🎃 👻🔦✨
