What a fantastic few days at the School Sports NL AGM! 👏
This week brought together our Board of Directors, Participation Nation Council, Varsity Council, and our newly minted Junior Varsity Council — officially elevated from committee status and now represented on the Board of Directors!
From Wednesday’s Board meetings to Thursday’s Council sessions and this morning’s AGM, the week was filled with strong engagement, great conversations, and valuable collaboration. Program representatives shared successes from their individual programs across the province, while important discussions around programming challenges helped shape key decisions for the future of school sport in Newfoundland and Labrador. 💪
Another exciting development from the past few days was the presentation and approval of an official Junior Varsity logo! So keep your eyes peeled for the official launch! 👀
Finally, we’d like to extend our biggest and most heartfelt thank you to each and every person who attended, contributed, and continues to show up for student-athletes and SSNL programming across the province. We truly could not do what we do without you! 🙌
