On December 17th CGNL had our first event in the community! We paired up with Bonaventure retirement home and were able to provide Christmas to around 20 residents! Some of our amazing volunteers came out to help with the event as well!

With the help of donations we gifted each resident a gift off of their wishlist and a stocking full of personal care items! We provided pizza, refreshments and desserts as well for a nice lunch.

CGNL wants to thank everyone for their support. It was a great day today seeing our dreams for Connecting Generations come to life!

Hello everyone! We are Connecting Generations NL, a newly formed non-profit volunteer organization that connects youth and the elderly populations in Newfoundland through meaningful in-person interactions. We aim to bridge the gap between generations and foster a sense of community united by shared values and traditions. We recognize the growing concern about the loss of cultural traditions and values in Newfoundland and the isolation experienced by many seniors in our communities. We believe
that bringing these two groups together will help address these challenges and create a brighter future for everyone.
