Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder to make screening a priority and book a routine mammogram through the Ontario Breast Screening Program. Eligible individuals between the ages of 40 and 74 can book a mammogram at Brightshores without a referral from a health-care provider and the service is covered by OHIP.

Early detection can improve treatment options, and advanced diagnostic services, including contrast-enhanced mammography, are available at Brightshores when needed.
