We are delighted to share that our first Colours of Belonging art class took place successfully on June 11! Registration remains open, and we warmly welcome more families to join us.

Guided by our dedicated volunteer instructor, Xiangsheng Cheng, participants explored their creativity through painting and created unique artworks that reflected their own styles. Through his enthusiastic teaching, thoughtful guidance, and constant encouragement, both children and parents gained confidence in their artistic abilities and experienced the joy of expressing themselves through art.

It was inspiring to see families creating together, exchanging ideas, and celebrating one another’s work. These moments of connection remind us of the power of art to bring people together and foster a sense of belonging.

We extend our sincere thanks to for their generous support, which makes it possible for newcomer families to participate in this meaningful community program free of charge.

We look forward to welcoming more families in the coming weeks as we express ourselves through colour and build community through art.
