CSED is a not for profit organization that advances businesses and organizations, whose primary objective is to drive systemic social change.

CSED works with clients throughout the city in developing their social enterprise plans and providing them with the tools and strategies to perpetuate positive social change and grow profitably. We believe in the power of the social enterprise sector, and its ability to make the world a better place.

The Youth Impact Hackathon is officially underway!

On Friday, we welcomed an incredible group of young changemakers to begin exploring community challenges, developing ideas, and learning how entrepreneurship can be used as a tool for social impact.

The energy, creativity, and collaboration in the room have been inspiring. Participants came ready to think deeply, work together, ask questions, and start building ideas that can create positive change in their communities.

We are excited to see how these ideas continue to grow as the Hackathon wraps up today.

CSED is launching a Business Development 6 month pilot to test a new model of revenue generation support for Ottawa-based social enterprises. Recognizing that many social enterprises offer high-quality services but lack dedicated sales capacity, CSED will provide outreach, lead generation, and buyer introductions on behalf of a select portfolio of participating enterprises. We are hosting a virtual information session on Monday, June 20th at 3 pm to discuss what is involved. This session will be led by Akil Mesiwala.

Tim is a business engineer, advisor, and founder of C-View Strategies, where he helps owner-led and senior-led organizations improve ex*****on, decision-making, and business performance.
