Today, We had the opportunity to visit and connect with founder to learn more about their inspiring social enterprise journey.

Carlington Booch is combining entrepreneurship and social impact by brewing and selling healthy kombucha while supporting efforts to address men’s addiction and foster recovery in the community.

At CSED, we love seeing social enterprises tackle complex challenges through innovative business models that create both economic and social value.

Yesterday marked Day 1 of the 2026 CSED Social Enterprise Bootcamp, an exciting milestone that highlights our shared commitment to social change! 🚀

We welcomed our newest cohort of changemakers, social entrepreneurs, nonprofit practitioners, and purpose-driven founders, all here to validate their ideas and build the foundation to launch.

The first session dove straight into the Foundation, exploring motivation and mindset, and unpacking what social enterprise really means. Participants were asked to sketch their “why” and share the idea behind their venture, setting the tone for a program built on purpose, self-awareness, and community. The energy in the room was something else.

Over the next 3 months, the cohort will move through 9 interactive workshops, 3 mentoring sessions, and wraparound coaching support, culminating in a Demo Day pitch. We look forward to seeing how this group will grow and impact the community.

Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved as they progress through the bootcamp.

You might want to start a business, but finally don't because you think there's multiple blockage before they start. You think: Maybe I'm not done with my studies, I'm not good for it, I can't do it, I don't have the resources. It can be money, it can be connections, anything like that.

And we see that; we get it. That's why we designed a special program just for you; so you can finally believe in yourself and capacities, and start that idea you've been thinking about. It's people like you that come out successful from our Youth Social Entrepreneurship program Bootcamp at CSED. SO YES, WE WANT YOU, WE NEED YOU THERE!
