ACB Wellness Resource Centre ACB Wellness & Resource Centre is a community that is built on the foundation of empowering the lives of marginalized groups and youths in Ottawa/Gatineau.

We are here to make the changes that we hope to see for our communities. ACB is an organization committed to educating, enriching, and empowering residents of Ottawa/Gatineau a variety of educational, cultural and performing arts, programs, activities, and exhibits that promote awareness and raise the collective consciousness of all ethnicities to the rich and vibrant history, contribution, and cu

lture of African, Caribbean & Black. The Centre seeks to strengthen our community by fostering unity, self-determination, cooperative economics, collective work, and creativity. Our Vision is to build capacity through literacy, community engagement, resource development and advancement of ACB and marginalized people is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or racial discrimination. Our programs will address the importance of education, health, wellness, resources, mentoring, cultural awareness, financial empowerment, training, and coaching. Through our own efforts and mentoring programs, as well as forging partnerships with respected social and professional organizations that share a similar passion for affecting positive change. Our Mission is to provide a safe space for the ACB and marginalized community to overcome barriers that prevents one owns self-empowerment, to reach and achieve their full potential.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers who came out and celebrated with us looking absolutely beautiful! 🌸✨

It was such a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, good music, laughter. Seeing everyone smiling, dancing, and making memories together made the day so special. 💐

Now Enrolling: Adult Financial Literacy Program Starting May 30, 2026

We’re excited to launch our 8-week Adult Financial Literacy Program 💼 designed to support individuals in building practical skills for a brighter financial future.

Program Details:
• Every Saturday starting May 30 📅
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM ⏰
• 610 Donald Street, Ottawa 📍
• Offered in English and French
• Ages 21+

Participants will gain hands-on knowledge in:
• Budgeting and managing credit 💳
• Saving and setting financial goals 💰
• Employment and job creation
• Planning for the future

Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate 🎓 and 20 volunteer hours.
