Welcome Gita to She Rests Here 🩷🥁

There is something about the sound of a drum that you don’t just hear… you feel.

We are so excited to welcome Gita from Infinity Rhythms to She Rests Here, where she will guide us through a beautiful one-hour drumming experience.

Gita brings such a warm, grounded energy to her work. Her drumming creates an invitation to get out of our heads, into our bodies, and simply be present with the rhythm.

Drumming has been used for generations as a way to gather, connect and create a shared rhythm. There is something incredibly powerful about sitting in a circle together, feeling the beat.

And that’s exactly what this day is about.

Less thinking.

More grounding

With this Event, we will celebrate June’s Full Strawberry Moon.

After a mindful, slow, short and easy hike (suitable for all levels of hikers and non-hikers alike), we will build a fire by the river. The hosts will lead you in gentle drumming, and Lunar Ceremony.

Drums will be provided, but if you happen to own a Buffalo/Frame drum, you are welcome to bring it along.

We will be meeting at Sandy McNabb Trail: Short Loop (formerly Interpretive Trail) trailhead.
