Okotoks Stingrays Summer Swim Club Okotoks Stingrays Summer Swim Club is a community based summer club swim team, in Okotoks, Alberta. We swim from May 1st through mid-August.

Trained certified coaches, flexible practice schedule. Train to swim for life. The Okotoks Stingrays is a competitive summer swim club for all ages. The Stingrays train at the Okotoks Recreation Centre. Our season starts May 1st and ends mid-August, where our swimmers may have the opportunity to compete at the Alberta Summer Swimming Association (ASSA) Provincials. The Okotoks Stingrays Swimming a

cknowledges and thanks the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy and the first peoples of Southern Alberta including the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, Tsuut'ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations. This land is also the proud home to the Metis Nation of Alberta Region 3. We acknowledge and honour all Nations - Indigenous and non who live, work and play on this land.

Festivals Time Standards (Swim Alberta)
Taya O’Malley (50 free, 100 free)
Kateri Beaton (50 free, 100 free)

(Swimmers qualify for Swim Alberta provincial competitions by achieving one time standard for their respective age as of the first day of competition.)

Provincial Trials Time Standards (Swim Alberta)
Julia Wiebe (50 back, 50 fly, 50 free)

(The Provincial Trials Standards will be used to qualify for the Winter Provincial Trials and the Summer Provincial Trials.)

The Okotoks Stingrays are incredibly grateful to announce that we raised over $4,000 thanks to the amazing support from the Okotoks community!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated bottles, volunteered their time, and supported our fundraiser; especially the bottle depot and all of our hardworking volunteers. Your generosity helps our club continue to grow and gives our athletes more opportunities to succeed.

We couldn’t do it without this community. Thank you for supporting the Stingrays!
