An Okotoks youth is proving that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the community.

Seven-year-old Harrison Ward donated $50 to the Sheep River Health Trust in support of urgent care services, using proceeds he raised during Lemonade Day. 🍋

Devin, this amazing young community member had a lemonade stand at Safeway last weekend during Lemonade Day and chose to support the Okotoks Food Bank. 🍋

Thanks to her hard work, she raised $90 to help local families in need. Every cup of lemonade was made with care, using lemons she lovingly squeezed herself!

Thank you for your generosity and kindness, and thank you to everyone who stopped by to purchase a lemonade and support Lemonade Day in Okotoks.

These outstanding young entrepreneurs achieved the highest profits, reached their SAVE, SPEND, and SHARE goals, and worked hard to turn their business dreams into reality.

Each of these young business owners has an inspiring story to tell and learned valuable lessons about planning, operating, and growing a business.

While these entrepreneurs took home the top awards, we are incredibly proud of every participant who stepped out of their comfort zone, took a risk, and ran their own business this year. Your creativity, determination, and hard work made Lemonade Day a huge success.

The number one thing Lemonade Day kids walk away with is not the cash. 💛

It is a three-word framework most adults still struggle with: SAVE. SPEND. SHARE.

Here is how Lemonade Day kids actually break their earnings down:

🏦 SAVE: Put a portion away. For many kids, this is the first dollar they have ever saved on purpose, toward something they actually want.

🛒 SPEND: Enjoy the fruits of the work. A new game. A trip to the bookstore. The toy they have been eyeing for months.
