Veteran Jack MacIsaac spent 33 years serving Canada in the Royal Canadian Air Force, working on aircraft like the Sea King, Starfighter and Aurora.

Today, he continues serving Veterans as Dominion First Vice-President of the Royal Canadian Legion.

As the Legion celebrates its 100th anniversary, MacIsaac is welcoming a new generation of Veterans into the organization while keeping its mission at the heart of everything it does: Veterans helping Veterans.

Every year, Poppy Fund donations help Veterans and their families with emergency support, housing, food, transportation and access to services.

With the 2026 Poppy Campaign underway, MacIsaac has a message for Canadians: "Buy a poppy. Donate if you can. Every dollar helps a Veteran in need."

The National Poppy Campaign runs from October 24 to November 11.
