💃Get ready to shake yo b***y! We’ll start and close the night with guided meditations. In between, Ian will create a blend of organic and deep house music to encourage you to play.

🧘‍♀️🎵🕺Whatever arises, dance with it. Dance the anger dance if that’s what your body needs; engage with joy if that’s where you’re at. Whatever it is you need, this is a safe space to express through mindful movement.

➡️ Ian is passionate about movement as a modality for connecting more deeply with ourselves and each other. They are a teacher, wilderness guide, meditation and psychedelic facilitator, and completing a Masters of Social Work. Ecstatic dance has given Ian space to explore themselves more deeply and connect with a more authentic way of being.

Tickets are $10 at the door or you can e-transfer [email protected]

Dance Temple is located at 702 Bernard Ave at 7pm every Sunday night

✨ Volunteer role, approx. 2-4 hours/event

📲 You’ll help manage our social accounts, write engaging captions, and post updates

🎨 Bonus if you love playing with Canva, Reels, or memes that actually mean something

We’re not after polished perfection — just someone who’s creative, organized, and passionate about connecting people through art and culture.

🎨 ORCAS is looking for Graphic Designers!

We’re on the hunt for a visual storyteller to help bring our community events, art grants, and creative culture to life — one poster, post, and graphic at a time.

As our Graphic Designer, you’ll collaborate with the ORCAS team to design visuals for social media, event promotions, and other creative projects. We’re not looking for perfection — just someone with a good eye, a solid sense of style, and a love for community art.

✨ Volunteer role, approx. 2–4 hours/event (approx 8 events per year)

🎯 Project-based: you’ll work on event graphics, social posts, and print materials

💻 Basic design tools like Canva or Adobe are totally fine — we care more about vibe than software

If you love using your creative skills to make things beautiful and meaningful, this is your sign.

👉 DM us or comment below to join the crew!

ORCAS is looking for a Golddigger! (Grant Writers needed 😉)

Are you good with words and love telling a story that matters? We’re looking for someone to help us secure funding for community events, art installations, and creative projects we bring to life in the Okanagan.

As our Grant Writer, you’ll help identify grant opportunities and craft compelling applications that support local artists and participatory experiences. You don’t need to be a pro — just someone with heart, clarity, and a willingness to collaborate.

✨ This is a volunteer role, approx. 2–5 hours/month depending on the grant cycle.

💡 Experience is a bonus, but we’ll support you if you’re new and excited to learn.

🤝 You’ll work closely with our team and help shape the future of ORCAS events.

If you’re passionate about the arts and want to contribute in a meaningful way — we’d love to hear from you!

🎪 ORCAS is looking for Event Producers!

Are you a natural organizer with a creative edge and a love for community-led art and music? We’re seeking someone to take the lead on producing immersive, co-created events aligned with the 10 Principles of Burning Man.

This role includes curating music and art, coordinating collaborators, booking venues and artists, and holding the vision from start to finish. You’ll guide the process with intention, teamwork, and a deep respect for community input.

🌀 This is a volunteer leadership role — ideal for someone who thrives in creative chaos, can wear many hats, and knows how to get things done with heart.

👉 DM us if you’re interested!
