Wandering Coyote Community We are a multigenerational group, co-learning and implementing permaculture living approaches to build an off-grid sustainable cohousing community on 30 acres.

Nestled in nature, Wandering Coyote Community is a homesteading intentional community where like-minded individuals come together to create a sustainable, supportive, and harmonious way of life. Our mission is to build a thriving, off-grid community that values collaboration, self-sufficiency, and deep connections—with both each other and the land.

Through collective effort and shared resources, we aim to inspire a lifestyle that nurtures the environment and fosters personal and community growth.

Our Vision:

Create a sustainable haven for individuals and families seeking a closer connection to nature.
Build an inclusive community where diversity, mutual respect, and collaboration are celebrated.
Offer a supportive environment where members can grow personally and collectively while contributing to the greater good.

Who Should Join:
We welcome individuals, families, and groups who are passionate about homesteading, sustainable living, and intentional community life. Whether you're an experienced homesteader or someone eager to learn, you'll find a place here if you value teamwork, environmental stewardship, inclusiveness, and meaningful relationships.

Winterizing the land and saying goodbye to Fall with the first bits of snow. Garden is put to rest, the dome and deck are put away for a few months, and the land is getting ready to hibernate for a bit. A calm settles over it when the first snow comes. Almost like it's excited for the rest and reset. 🍂❄️

The Fall community potluck was moved inside because of rain. It was still fun visiting, chatting, and eating the yummy food. We also made chop sticking into magic wands with a bit of paint. ✨️🪄
Thanks to everyone who came out. 😁
Next one is the Spring Potluck at the end of May. 🗓

We did a day of wood collection in the crownland last week (catching up on posts). It was a real community project task. All the members helped and we did 6 truck loads in 3.5 hours. So amazing! Thanks for everyone's help. It's true that many hands make light work. (Well, lighter work. Those logs were heavy! Lol) 🥰😁🪵🪓
