Introducing the first program at the Youth Thrive Community Hub!π
The SAVVY Program is a 10-week prevention program designed to empower youth with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to stay safe and informed about s*xual exploitation and human trafficking.
Hosted by Aleah Broderick from BridgeNorth, this program is open to female, non-binary, and gender non-conforming youth aged 12β18 and uses the evidence-informed My Life My Choice prevention curriculum. Participants will explore topics including healthy relationships, self-esteem, s*xual health, risk reduction, substance use, survivor stories, and safety planning in a supportive group environment.

β’ The SAVVY program is delivered through 8β10-week sessions with each week focusing on a different topic that is relevant to Sexual Exploitation and Human Trafficking
β’ This program is delivered through educational discussions and activity- based learning in a group setting
β’ Participants in the first week will need to complete a Pre- Survey
β’ Facilitators will provide a basic introduction to what Human Trafficking is, covering definitions of exploitation, s*x trafficking, coercion and what a trafficker is
