Founded by Newmarket resident, Joe Persechini, the Upper Canada Easter Seals Run 5k & 10k Walk and Roll 5k is York Region’s longest running fundraiser for children and youth with physical disabilities.
Over the past 42 years, this popular community event has become a permanent fixture in York Region, raising nearly $3.2 million to help children and youth with physical disabilities. The Upper Canada Easter Seals Run 5k & 10k Walk and Roll 5k provides a challenge for serious runners, while also offering a fun and family-friendly event for walkers.
