That's a wrap! Thank you so much to our organizers (you are magical), volunteers, sponsors, local business donors, bouncy castle operators, performers, St. John's Ambulance volunteers, Project 529 team, those incredible youth market kids and all our neighbours from near and far who came by South End Day and made it epic!

The summer is in full swing - we'll be back in a few with more news and events, but for now, enjoy Pride and the lovely weather and remember - sunscreen and hydrate! and sleep!

What is a pet parade you say? Well, it's great fun for starters and a chance for the doggos of the South End to get together and strut their stuff. There will be treats and prizes for all dogs participating. The parade will kick off at 11:45 AM on Saturday, June 13 at South End Day at Deverill Park and should last about 20 minutes 🐶.

We should note that the 'pet' moniker is a bit misleading - it's actually pretty much exclusively dogs at this stage, but we look forward to welcoming a broader cross section of our furry friends in future years.

We all know the cats would win the parade anyways, so best let the dogs have their day 😼.

I'm not sure if you've heard... but the hottest ticket right now is the South End Day Youth Market - and it's not too late to sign up if you have an idea for the market! We've had some incredibly creative ideas from the younger crowd in the neighbourhood - this part of the day is always a hit.
