🌿 Day 4: The Final Day of The Grooming Series
Today, on International Anti‑Human Trafficking Day, and on our final day of The Grooming Series, we shift our focus toward freedom, healing, and empowerment.
Over the last three days, we’ve uncovered how grooming begins, builds, and traps individuals in silence. Today, we name the truth clearly: grooming is intentional, manipulative, and never the survivor’s fault. 💙
Grooming is designed to isolate, manipulate, and control.
🌿But awareness disrupts it.
🌿Community weakens it.
🌿And support breaks it.
Today we name the truth clearly:
Grooming is not the survivor’s fault.
It is not a misunderstanding.
It is not “just a bad relationship.”
It is a deliberate strategy used by offenders—one that can be recognized, interrupted, and prevented when communities understand the signs.
As we close this series, we honour every survivor who has ever felt trapped, confused, or ashamed. Your voice matters. Your story matters. Your healing matters. And you are not alone. đź’™
Community of Hope NB exists to walk with survivors and families—offering education, prevention, and safe, hope‑centered support.
