How does Collective Cup actually work?

1️⃣ Farmers are paid fairly for their coffee
2️⃣ You enjoy great coffee at home, church, or work
3️⃣ Proceeds invest in entrepreneurs around the world through Vennture

From crop → to cup → to community impact.

Simple. Tangible. Redemptive.

Equipping entrepreneurs. Strengthening communities. Expanding impact.

This project is supporting ServeHope in developing and unifying practical training materials that teach the essentials of small business and entrepreneurship - designed for aspiring entrepreneurs across eight countries in Latin America.

By translating existing resources into Spanish and refining content for real-world application, these tools will enhance ServeHope’s pre-incubation and incubation programs, helping more leaders turn ideas into sustainable ventures.

Even more, these materials will extend beyond one organization - being shared with the Vennture team to serve partners in other regions around the world.

This is how collaboration multiplies impact.

Every bag of Collective Cup starts in the mountains of El Salvador, grown by a collective of farmers using sustainable, shade-grown methods that protect forests and water.

From their fields… to your cup… to communities being transformed.

This is coffee with a story worth sharing.

- Juice Manufacturing in Congo -

A powerful new initiative is taking shape in Butembo.

At CBCA’s Kikyo Centre, a semi-industrial fruit juice processing enterprise is being developed - one that connects nearly 150 local households into a growing value chain. By purchasing fresh fruit directly from these families, this project is creating new economic opportunities while strengthening the journey from farm to market.

With a vision to offer affordable, high-quality, locally produced juice as an alternative to imports, this initiative is about more than just production. It’s about reducing waste, creating jobs, increasing household income, and improving access to nutritious products across the community.

This is what sustainable, community-driven impact looks like.

Your work matters to God.

This International Labour Day, take a few minutes to reflect on the deeper purpose behind what you do every day.

We invite you to engage with this short reflection from Bruno Soucy:

Your morning coffee already shapes your day… what if it also shaped someone else’s future?

Collective Cup is coffee that tastes good and does good, supporting fair wages for farmers and investing in entrepreneurs around the world.

Same routine. Greater impact.

Integral Mission in the Workplace

We’re encouraged to see momentum growing for our Integral Mission in the Workplace training throughout our partners in East Africa.

Recently, CBCA hosted their first training, equipping 85 pastors and church leaders across the region. This meaningful time of learning took place across two locations—Goma (DR Congo) and Gisenyi (Rwanda)—bringing leaders together both in person and virtually.

We’re especially grateful for CBM Global staff member Darrell Bustin, who facilitated the training during his recent visit to Rwanda. While Darrell worked directly with a small group in Gisenyi, pastors in Goma joined in online—demonstrating their shared commitment to learning and collaboration across border.

This is what it looks like when leaders are equipped to live out their faith in every sphere of life.

What happens when faith, work, and calling collide?

At our recent Vennture Conference, we saw it firsthand.

• 110+ students explored redemptive business in the classroom
• 70+ gathered for a powerful Work & Worship night
• 250+ students, faculty, and staff were challenged through chapel to reimagine work through a theological lens
• 50+ joined our evening lecture from Crandall and the wider community
• 20+ faculty leaned into their role in shaping the next generation of redemptive leaders
• 25+ pastors and marketplace leaders wrestled with the connection between church and work

This is more than an event, it’s a growing movement of people rethinking work as worship and business as a vehicle for redemption.

“Becoming a Vocationally Shaped Church” - Springhill
Baptist Church

We recently had the privilege of partnering with Springhill Baptist
Church in Nova Scotia for a rich time of learning, leadership
development, and worship.

On Saturday afternoon, we spent time with church leaders in a
focused workshop focused on becoming vocationally shaped as a
church, exploring practical tools and fresh perspectives for
ministry in today’s context. Then on Sunday morning, Michael
Waddell had the opportunity to share with the congregation in
their worship service.

We’re always encouraged by these opportunities - walking
alongside churches, equipping leaders, and investing in the
work God is doing in local communities.

If your church is looking for support, training, or a workshop
experience like this, we’d love to connect to explore opportunities.
