Long before serving as Mayor, Gord proudly served the community as a Milton firefighter. His commitment to public service, both on the fireground and throughout his years in municipal leadership, reflects a longstanding dedication to the people of Milton.

His contributions have helped shape the community we proudly serve today, and we recognize the time, commitment and leadership he has given to Milton over the years.

From serving alongside fellow firefighters to leading our community as Mayor, his connection to Milton and its residents has been longstanding.

16 new fulltime firefighters is what we need!
Milton has 60+ part-time firefighters who help provide emergency coverage in our growing community.
We need 16 additional full-time firefighters to staff our next truck.
Promoting more part-time firefighters into full-time positions would add experienced personnel to the full-time complement and increase the number of firefighters available to respond to emergencies.
Our community is growing. Our emergency services need to grow with it.
