Present Day: And that brings us to today. We are incredibly appreciative and humbled by all the support over the past year. Together, we’ve accomplished so much and we’re thrilled to share that we have now raised $107,000. WOW!

As the holidays approach, we’ll be taking some time to be with our families and Remember Adam. We know Adam is proud. We’ll be back in the new year with new events, fundraising efforts, and more milestones to reach. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

The Legacy Walkathon: On September 13, 2025, we hosted the Walkathon... wow, what a day! It was a whirlwind to bring everything together, but an incredible success. We raised approximately $40,000 at the event and welcomed over 250 people, including volunteers, attendees, and students, (even the local news came out & a TiCats player!). It was a day to celebrate all we’ve accomplished and, most importantly, to remember Adam, who is at the heart of it all.

Local Business Support: A special moment during the Walkathon planning was seeing the support of over 30 local businesses. These businesses donated their time, money, and resources to help us make the event possible. Their generosity means more than words can express, and we truly couldn’t have done it without them. Not only did their support allow us to run the event smoothly, but it also ensured that more of the proceeds could go directly toward scholarships rather than event costs. To everyone who contributed, thank you.

Start organizing Walkathon: Fueled by the motivation and emotions of seeing the difference our efforts had made, we decided to host a Walkathon in Adam’s honour and for the Foundation. We launched this on August 5th, 2025, encouraging people to create teams, fundraise, and join us.

Leading up to the walk, we had already raised $65,000 and were working hard to reach our $100,000 goal. It was a month of preparation from creating merch to organizing all the event details and we hustled with the incredible support of our volunteer task force. We couldn’t have done it without their help and dedication.

Gave out $21k in Scholarships: In June 2025, with the funds we had raised so far, we awarded $21,000 in scholarships to six students at Adam’s school in Milton. This was a pivotal moment that filled us with immense gratitude and showed us the real impact of our work. It was emotional, meaningful, and incredibly rewarding. We are so proud to have supported these deserving students, honouring Adam’s legacy in a way that truly makes a difference and we can’t wait to see where life takes them

$25,000 Goal Reached!: We did it! By the end of February..... yes, less than one month after launch, we reached our $25,000 goal. To say we were shocked, humbled, and encouraged is an understatement. There’s was no way to fully express our gratitude. After such an incredible start, we couldn’t help but feel excited for what was ahead and moved the goal to $50,000....

Once again, after quickly reaching our $50,000 goal, we rode that momentum and set our sights on $100,000, excited to see how far we could go together.

Scholarships Established: We established where the funds would go. Three scholarships to support high school students pursuing post secondary education. Each scholarship reflects one of Adam’s core values: Trades, Good Sportsmanship, and Making a Difference. With this foundation in place, we set out with purpose and drive to reach our $25,000 fundraising goal before it was time to award the scholarships.

Foundation Launch: We launched the Foundation on February 5th, 2025 with a broken heart, but a dream to continue Adam’s legacy and make the world a better place.

As we approach the one year mark, we want to celebrate what the Foundation has accomplished, even through the hardest of times.
