How It All Began
Back in November 2011 a group of dedicated volunteers recognized a need within Halton North. Through many meetings, a lot of hard work and sheer determination, this small group formed the Community Foundation of Halton North (Charitable Number: 86197 1257 RR0001). The Community Foundation of Halton North is a registered public foundation created by and for the people of Milton, G
eorgetown, Acton and the surrounding areas. The Foundation will facilitate philanthropy within Halton North through the building of permanent endowment funds. The endowments that we are building will support the vibrancy and sustainability of Halton North forever. After receiving a startup grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, we hired our first staff person in July 2013. Quick Facts
