A great day is planned for our 'Hockey vs Cancer' fundraiser on October 18th!

Join us for food and ice cream trucks, vendors, music, amazing giveaways, a silent auction, open skate and an entertaining game between the Winterhawks and the Halton Police!

THANK YOU to everyone who donated $ to support Childhood Cancer Canada via The Ottawa Tamarack Run. It was an amazing experience (my first!) and I am happy to report that I raised over $2300 and Zach's brother raised over $600! Our wonderful team made our day such a memorable one! Hopefully this will be an annual event moving forward to honour Zach and to help families enduring a cancer diagnosis 🎗️

Today marked 6 months since Zach's passing. 💔 This heartbreaking day was softened because of the hard working students and staff at MDSS who honoured Zach at their Relay for Life today. Zach's amazing friend spoke about him at the luminary ceremony and I can't help but think that the school surpassed their fundraising goal by over $12 000 (and reached $52 000 so far) due to Zach's story. 🎗️❤️
