Indoor air pollutants can affect your health. From dust to chemicals, pollutants lurk in your indoor spaces. Keep an eye out for these common pollutants:
🔸 Dust mites
🔸 Mold spores
🔸 Chemicals from cleaning products
🔸 Pet dander
🔸 Carbon Monoxide [CO]

Combat these by cleaning often, using air filters, and maintaining proper humidity levels.

Did you Know –Air pollution can lead to several health issues, including respiratory problems, allergies and more. The vulnerable, such as children, the elderly, and those with health issues, are more susceptible. 🏠🌬️ Outdoor air pollution can make its way indoors. Think being inside always means you’re protected from outdoor air pollution? Not necessarily. Smoke, dust, vehicle emissions and other pollutants from outside can enter our homes and buildings through open windows, doors, ventilation systems and small gaps.
When outdoor air quality is poor:
✔️ Check the AQHI before opening windows or spending time outdoors
✔️ Keep windows and doors closed when appropriate
✔️ Use ventilation and filtration systems properly
✔️ Consider using a portable air cleaner to help reduce indoor particles
✔️ Reduce indoor sources of pollution, such as smoking, candles and wood burning.
🌿 Cleaner outdoor air helps create cleaner indoor air, too.
