Dinner in the Garden is back, and this year it has a purpose bigger than ever before.

For years, these dinners have brought people together in our garden to enjoy incredible food, entertainment, meaningful conversation, and a shared commitment to building a stronger community.

This summer, every seat will help build the future of the Root Cellar.

When we began planning our current facility in 2019, we were serving approximately 900 people each month through our Emergency Food Pantry. Today, that number has grown to more than 4,000 people every month.

The need is here, and our warehouse space can no longer keep up. Limited storage is impacting our buying power and our ability to receive large food donations when they become available.

That's why we're building a 2,500-square-foot warehouse expansion, and this special Warehouse Edition Dinner Series will help make it possible.

But this year, with a purpose bigger than ever before.

Sometimes someone comes into your life and changes you for the better. Dana is one of those people.

For the past three years, Dana has been our Brown Bag Lunch driver, and today is sadly his last day with The Root Cellar.

Dana always brings the biggest smile into the room. He can find the positive in any situation and has a way of motivating and inspiring everyone around him. Simply put, you want to be a better person when Dana is around.

Dana, it has been an absolute pleasure having you as part of our team. Thank you for your dedication, kindness, and the countless ways you’ve made a difference in our community. We wish you nothing but success in your new opportunity.

Please don’t be a stranger, we just happen to know a few volunteer opportunities that might interest you!
