Traffic Pattern Change on the Manson's Dock:

Due to the busy summer season, the number of non-essential vehicles accessing the Manson’s Landing wharf head has increased exponentially and there have been multiple instances of vehicles being left unattended, blocking access to the dock for emergency service vehicles.

The Manson’s dock plays a vital role in our community, as it is the evacuation dock for medical emergencies requiring hospitalization that occur outside of ferry service hours. To ensure clear and immediate access to the dock for our ambulance and emergency responder staff, a traffic bollard will be installed at the top of the approach, limiting vehicle access to the facility to essential vehicles only. For access to the wharf head for loading and unloading, please reach out to the CCD at 250-935-0263 or [email protected] and we will provide you with access instructions.

Cortes Community Docks will be doing a clean up of the dock and parking lot areas on Robertson Road and will be towing unauthorized vehicles and trailers from the lot.
